křeček byl měl mít pestrou stravu a u ní vždy pitnou vodu.zákla-co by měla určitě obsahovat strava pro křečka doplněk-doplnky nejsou nutnustní(obsahují třba vitamíny a tak) pochoutky-dávejte jen zřídka třeba jako odměnu 
základ:tvrdý hleba na obrušování zoubků,směs pro křečky a malé hlodavce-(obsahuje plno živin a vitamínů),zelenina a ovoce,bílkovyny-(maso,vajíčko,sýr-pozor ne moc slanej!!),živočišná strava- jako jsou třeba mouční červy a mouhy, mléčné výrobky-spíše jako pochoutka,slunečnicová semínka
doplněk stravy:lízací sůl,ovesné vločky,rýže,speciální granulky jako doplněk stravy granule pro kočky(obsahují maso a ostatní složky)
pochoutky:piškoty,pamlsky pro hlodavce,jogurty,mléko,šlehačka,sušenky
